VAPORETTO
Obviously in Venice public transport is by boat, small ferries called by the Venetians “vaporetti”, which mainly go up and down the Grand Canal.
You can take LINE 1 (panoramic) or LINE 2 (faster).
We recommend getting off at the “Rialto” or “San Marco” vaporetto stop, which are the main and best-served stops in the entire city. From there, it’s just a short walk through the picturesque streets of Venice to our cozy apartment.
The ticket can be purchased everywhere: both in Piazzale Roma than in many shops like tobacco shops, etc.
